Valve has a couple of new interesting hardware. This one is the Steam Frame VR headset.
The Steam Frame VR is made for streaming games. But if you’re worried about latency, don’t. It comes with a wireless adapter that is equipped with two radios. One radio is for sending the video feed, while the other is dedicated to the WiFi to eliminate congestion.

That adapter can be plugged into a PC, Steam Deck, and the all-new Steam Machine.
But what makes it even more special is that it runs on SteamOS PC, so it works standalone. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and an option between 256GB and 1TB UFS storage, expandable via a microSD card.

Of course, it comes with its own 211.6Wh battery so you can use it without worrying about wires.
It can handle Android games natively, as well as x86 games emulated to ARM64 using an emulator called Flex.

Meanwhile, the Steam Frame Controllers were designed with a split gamepad layout, making them compatible with any of the games in your Steam library.
Pricing and availability for the Steam Frame VR will be announced soon.
