The Steam Winter Sale 2025 is now live, bringing the curtain down on a busy year for gaming with a sprawling selection of discounted titles. The annual holiday event began today, offering PC players their final major chance of 2025 to grab games at reduced prices.
This year’s sale includes substantial price cuts on numerous high-profile games released throughout the year. Among the standout offers is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which is available at a 50% discount. The role-playing game recently earned PC Gamer’s Game of the Year award for 2025.
A wide range of other popular 2025 releases are also seeing significant markdowns. The list of discounted games includes:

Running alongside the sale is the voting phase for the Steam Awards. Players can now review the nominees in 11 categories and submit their votes for titles they believe deserve recognition. The polling will remain open until the sale concludes, with Valve set to announce the winners on January 3, 2026.
Steam has also launched its personalized “Year in Review” for 2025, allowing users to see their own playing statistics. The platform-wide data reveals a continued strong attachment to older games. According to Steam, just 14% of all playtimes on the platform this year was spent on new releases, indicating that most players spent their time with existing favorites from prior years.
