After months of leaks and rumors, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are finally official.
Launched alongside the iPhone 17 and all-new iPhone 17 Air, the new iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max have exactly that big redesign we’ve seen in a lot of leaks in the past. The camera island we’ve been seeing since the iPhone 11 Pro series is now wider. Plus, it uses a unibody metal frame.
Both phones are powered by the latest Apple A19 Pro chipset attached to a new thermal system that dissipates heat to the aluminum body and an “Apple-designed” vapor chamber.
They will have 12GB of RAM and now up to 2TB of storage for the Max. More importantly, the iPhone 17 Pro now starts at 256GB of storage, a much-needed upgrade. They will be available in an eSIM-only model in select countries.
The non-Max model gets a well-deserved love as the difference between the two is now minimal. The iPhone 17 Pro Max has a bigger 6.9-inch display with a bigger battery that can last for up to 37 hours.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro has a more compact 6.3-inch screen with a battery that lasts for up to 31 hours.
Cameras continue to be a big deal for the new iPhone Pro models. Now, both phones will use 48-megapixel sensors for the main shooter, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses. They also boast up to 8K video recording.
Availability details for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max in the Philippines are yet to be announced. In the meantime, you can check the local prices below as listed on the Apple website:
