Acer has introduced a lineup of budget-friendly laptops featuring NVIDIA’s latest RTX 5050 graphics card.

The new models, part of the Nitro V series, include options with both AMD and Intel processors, catering to fans of Team Red and Team Green. These new machines are for gamers and power users who want a good laptop without breaking the bank.

NVIDIA’s new RTX 5050 GPU, powering these laptops, boasts 2,560 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, delivering solid performance for gaming and creative tasks.

As the name suggests, the Acer Nitro V 16 AI Copilot+ comes with a 16-inch WUXGA 180Hz display. CPU options for AMD are the following: AMD Ryzen 5 240, Ryzen 7 260, or Ryzen 7 350. In terms of GPU, it can be configured to be equipped with up to an RTX 5070. Starting at $900, it includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with availability at Walmart in August.

For those who prefer Intel, the standard Acer Nitro V 16 can be had with either Intel Core Ultra C5 210H or Intel Core C7 240H processors, up to 1TB of storage, and display choices between 165Hz and 180Hz refresh rates. Priced from $1,000, it will be available at multiple retailers in the US.

Lastly, the Acer Nitro V 15 offers a 15.6-inch FHD 165Hz display, Intel Core i5 13420H or i7 13620H, and up to 1TB of storage. Unlike its bigger siblings, the Nitro V 15 only has an RTX 4050 GPU. Starting at $900, it will be available by late July at Micro Center, Walmart, Newegg, and other retail stores.
