The ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 G835 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, paired with a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics, whopping 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.
As the name suggests, it has an enormous 18-inch Mini LED display with a sharp 2.5K resolution and smooth 240Hz refresh rate, perfect for competitive gaming.
ASUS also highlights its back panel that’s easily removable with its Q-latch system, giving you instant access to the RAM, SSD, and the fans for quick upgrades and cleaning.
The machine has many ports, with the dual Thunderbolt 5 offering data speeds of up to 120Gbps, has G-SYNC support, power delivery, and DisplayPort.
ASUS used an end-to-end vapor chamber for cooling, with a sandwiched heatsink design, three fans, collectively keeping the machine up to 15°C cooler.
We also have full Aura lighting at the bottom and ASUS’s signature AniMe Vision display on the lid that uses an array of 810 LEDs. The RGB-lit keyboard is also here. All the lights can be controlled using the ASUS Aura Sync software.
Keeping the lights on is a beefy 90W battery with 380W AC charging. WiFi 7, 2.5G Ethernet, and an FHD IR camera are also here.
