COLORFUL attempts to enter the Philippine laptop market with the Rimbook L1.
The COLORFUL Rimbook L1 is an affordable laptop, so don’t be surprised that it is powered by an outdated 12th-gen Intel Core i5-12450H processor that has 8 cores, 12 threads, and a max turbo frequency of 4.4GHz.
It is paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz speeds and 512GB of fast SSD storage. We also have a decent 50Wh battery that lasts for up to 8 hours of light to moderate use. It charges via the 65W adapter with PD 3.0.
Despite its dated chipset, it managed to have a large 15.6-inch FHD resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. Plus, a modern WiFi 6 connectivity.
Colorful also didn’t skimp in ports. The left side has a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI, and DC port for charging. The right side has two USB-A, USB-C 2.0, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
It will ship with the latest Windows 11 Home OS. It also has a full numeric keypad, 180-degree hinge, and an HD webcam with a privacy shutter.
