Apple has updated the iPad Pro and the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the latest M5 silicon chip. For today, we’ll focus on the laptop.
The new MacBook Pro M5 is powered by a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The new chip is exclusive to the 14-inch model and has yet to reach the 16-inch model.

Prices as the same as its predecessor. The base model with 16GB/512GB configuration retails for Php99,990, the 16GB/1TB is sold for Php112,990, while the 24GB/1TB is at Php125,990.
The line-up of the 14-inch MacBook Pro now consists of the M5 models, followed by the M4 Pro that starts at Php129,990 and the M4 Max for Php201,990.

According to Apple, the M5 chip offers “6x faster AI Performance than M1” and lasts 14 hours longer than the Intel-based MacBook Pro.
The new M5 models come with a 16-core Neural Engine. Like before, they last for up to 24 hours on a single charge, have a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, three USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, MagSafe 3 for charging, and support a 70W USB-C charger. More specs listed below.
