Omdia’s latest Smart Market Pulse report shows the top smartphone brands that shipped the most units in 2025.
Apple dominated the smartphone market in 2025, owning 19 percent of the market after shipping 240.6 million iPhones and achieving 7 percent annual growth.
Samsung came in very close at the second spot. It shipped 239.1 million units, hence having a similar market share of 19 percent and 7 percent annual growth.
Xiaomi then follows them with 165.4 million units, then vivo with 105.3 million, and OPPO at number five with 100.7 million units.
Other honorable mentions are HONOR. While settling at the seventh spot, it is one of the biggest gainers last year after achieving an 11 percent annual growth.
OPPO, which used to be a trailblazer, slows down in 2025 after suffering a -8 percent annual growth. realme had the most disappointing year after it only took 3 percent of the market share and suffering a -13 percent growth.
Still, the entire market grew by 2 percent with 1.25 billion units shipped for 2025.
