vivo has officially scheduled a launch event for October 13th in China, where it will debut the new X300 series smartphones.

The series will be headlined by two models: the standard vivo X300 and X300 Pro. A key feature for both will be the integration of MediaTek’s newest flagship processor, the Dimensity 9500. They will also be among the first devices to run vivo’s OriginOS 6, an operating system based on Android 16. Interestingly, vivo will introduce this software on its own three days prior, on October 10th.

Leaked details highlight the differences between the models. The standard X300 is expected to feature a 6.31-inch display and will be remarkably thin, with a thickness of just 7.95mm. It is slated to arrive in four different color variations.

The X300 Pro, however, is built for top-tier performance. It will come packed with 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of internal storage. Powering the device will be a substantial 6,510 mAh battery. vivo has also confirmed that the Pro model will include its proprietary VS1 and V3+ chips, likely for imaging or AI tasks. This premium model will be offered in classic black and gold color options.

The event won’t be solely about the vivo X300 Series. vivo is also expected to expand its ecosystem with the introduction of several other products. These include the Pad5e tablet, the TWS 5 true wireless earbuds, and the Watch GT 2.
