Chrome OS was one of those technologies that made me go “WHYYYYYY???” when it was first announced. Maybe it was because I (and a lot of people) was expecting a more traditional Linux flavor, Google-style. Or maybe it was because I couldn’t see the value of an operating system that’s usable only when it’s online.
