Keeping up with the times, DJI has finally launched its first 360-degree action camera, the DJI Osmo 360.
The DJI Osmo 360 is equipped with two 1/1.2-inch CMOS sensors. They used industry-first square HDR sensors that were built entirely for 360-degree shooting. Both sensors have an f/1.9 aperture, a dynamic range of 13.5 stops, and a 100-51200 ISO range.
Both sensors allow the camera to shoot 8K 360 videos at 30fps or up to 50fps with image upscalling. You can also shoot 100fps videos at 4K, or in single-lens mode at up to 5K at 60fps, or single-lens ultra-wide at 4K@120fps.
Easily one of its best features is the ability to shoot up to 100-minute 8K 30fps panoramic videos and up to 190 minutes of 6K 24fps panoramic. It can also shoot in extreme weather conditions with up to 1.5 hours of video at -20° C.
DJI’s HorizonSteady and RockSteady 3.0 image stabilization is also here.
For still photos, the Osmo 360 can shoot 30.72-megapixel 4:3 images in single-lens mode or 120-megapixel 2:1 panoramic photos from both sensors.
As for the rest of the features, the Osmo 360 has a large 2-inch display with a 556 x 314 resolution, supports palm gestures and voice commands, has 128GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB
Plus, it has OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection for seamless pairing with DJI microphones. Plus, it supports DJI’s Osmo Magnetic Quick-Release Ecosystem of mounts and accessories.
The DJI Osmo 360 is available in the Philippines for Php24,990 for the Standard Combo that comes with a protective pouch, UB 3.1 PD cable, cleaning cloth, and rubber lens protector. The Adventure Combo retails for Php30,990, which adds a Multifunctional Battery Case 2, Adjustable Quick-Release Adopter Mount, and 1.2m Invisible Selfie Stick.
