DJI brings variable aperture to action cameras with its new product, the DJI Osmo Action 6.
The new DJI Osmo Action 6 has a variable aperture that ranges from f/2.0 to f/4.0. Having a wide aperture makes for a great low-light performance.

It also has a big square-type 1/1.1-inch sensor, with 13.5 stops of dynamic range, and a 155-degree wide-angle lens.
Like the selfie cameras on the new iPhones, having a square sensor gives you the flexibility to change the orientation to landscape or portrait in editing by cropping. It shoots 4K@120fps videos at a 4:3 aspect ratio.

There’s also a SuperNight mode that records videos at 4K@60fps in low light. Plus, support for 10-bit D-Log M color system.
DJI also boasts its 1,950mAh battery that lasts for up to four hours on a single charge. Speaking of, the fast charging support provides an 80% charge in just 22 minutes.

We then have a 2.5-inch main display with a 712 x 400 pixel resolution, and a secondary 1.46-inch screen on the front with a 342 x 342 resolution. Both have 800-nit peak brightness.
It is waterproof up to 20 meters or 60 meters with the waterproof case. It also works with DJI’s slew of wireless microphones. Plus, there’s the built-in 50GB storage on top of the microSD card slot.

The DJI Osmo Action 6 has a retail price of Php24,390 in the Philippines. That includes the 1,950mAh Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus, Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount, Curved Adhesive Base, Locking Screwn, USB-C to USB-C PD cable, and Anti-Slip Pad.
