DJI, a brand renowned for its drones and vlogging cameras, has finally expanded its product portfolio to include 360-degree action cameras with the launch of the DJI Osmo 360.
This 360-degree action camera from DJI features two 1/1.2-inch CMOS sensors and industry-first square HDR sensors, specifically designed for 360-degree videos. Both sensors have f1.9/ aperture and 13.5 stops dynamic range and a 100-51200 ISO range.
With these sensors, you can shoot 8K 360 videos at 30fps or up to 50fps with image upscaling. It also features 4K videos at 100fps, a single-lens ultra-wide in 4K at 120fps, or a single-lens mode of up to 5K at 60fps.
Another feature of the DJI Osmo 360 is that it can take long panoramic videos up to 100-minutes at 8K 30fps and 190 minutes video at 6K 24fps. Being an action camera, it can withstand extreme weather conditions even at -20° C. It also has the DJI HorizonSteady and RockSteady 3.0 image stabilization.
Moreover, the Osmo 360 can take 30.72-megapixel still photos with 4:3 ratio in single-lens mode or 120-megapixel 2:1 panoramic mode.
Unlike its competitor, the DJI Osmo 360 has a rectangular-like body, with less curves on the sides. There’s the 2-inch display with 556 x 314 resolution, a microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB, and palm gestures and voice commands.
Meanwhile, it comes with OsmoAudit Direct Microphone Connection for easy pairing with DJI microphones and a DJI Osmo Magnetic Quick-Release Ecosystem of mounts and accessories.
The DJI Osmo 360 retails for Php24,990 for its Standard Combo that comes with a protective pouch, cleaning cloth, cable, and rubber lens protector. You can also get the Adventure Combo for Php30,990, which comes with a Multifunctional Battery Case 2, a 1.2m Invisible Selfie Stick, and an adjustable quick-release adopter mount.
