After Delta arrived on the Apple App Store, a new emulator was made available for iPhone users. This time it’s Gamma, an emulator for PlayStation 1 games.
The Gamma PS1 emulator is made for both iPhone and iPad devices. It has been available on the App Store since last weekend and, today, it’s already on the top six spot in the entertainment category.

Much like Delta, you have to download the PS1 games you want to emulate separately. You can search for some on the web. Then, once downloaded and saved in your files, you can open the Gamma app to add them to your library.
Once added, games will show up in your library with the game’s artwork so you can easily tell them apart.
What makes the app special is the controls made to work better on touchscreens. You can also customize the controller skins to add a personal touch. But if you want the tactile feel of physical buttons, the app listing said that it supports Bluetooth controllers and keyboards.
The Gamma app, developed by ZodTTD, is available for free on the Apple App Store and only has a size of 35.2MB.
