HONOR has shared more details about its highly talked-about concept phone, the HONOR Robot Phone.
During its MWC 2026 presentation, the company claimed that they have developed an extra durable and light micro motor for the HONOR Robot Phone.
The concept device is made of 2800Mpa high-performance materials and 0.001 enhanced simulation accuracy for the motor. HONOR claims it was able to trim 70% of the size of a mainstream motor.
It also has the smallest 4DoF gimbal system with an embodied motion control. It also pioneers the use of a smartphone 3-axis gimbal camera.
What’s even more interesting is that HONOR teamed up with ARRI, a prominent German manufacturer of film cameras, to use its cinematic photography technology in the concept phone.
It will also feature AI object tracking for fast and accurate focus, AI spin shot, and a built-in AI Video Editor.
Speaking of AI, it has an AI multimodal technology, so the gimbal moves with a human’s emotional body language or dances to the music.
The HONOR Robot Phone will continue to be a concept device. But HONOR assured that they will continue to develop the product to uncover more of its potential.
