Official Apple resellers and telcos in the Philippines have revealed the pre-order details for the new iPhone 17 series and the iPhone Air.
Power Mac Center announced that the new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will be available for pre-order starting October 9 at exactly 12:01 AM. It will then be available starting October 17 at exactly 12:01 AM.
Other retailers like Digital Walker, Beyond the Box, Abenson, and The Loop Ph also announced the same pre-order dates for their respective stores.
The devices will also be available through Smart Communications under the same dates through their Smart Infinity plans. As of writing, Globe has not posted anything about the new Apple devices yet, but we reached out to them and confirmed that they will also offer the new iPhones.
For a quick recap, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max boast a new design on the back, an Apple A19 Pro chip with advanced vapor chamber cooling. All three cameras on the back have a 48-megapixel sensor, while the front uses a new 18-megapixel Center Stage camera sensor, allowing you to seamlessly switch between portrait and landscape shots.
That same chip powers the all-new iPhone Air, Apple’s ultra-thin and light smartphone. It’s just 5.64mm thin and weighs just 165g. It only has a single rear camera and a smaller battery if you get the physical SIM variant.
The iPhone 17 settles for a non-Pro Apple A19 chip, with only two 48-megapixel rear cameras, and a compact 6.3-inch LTPO display.
