Philippine boxing legend and former politician Manny Pacquiao released a new digital payments app called Manny Pay.
Manny Pay is a financial app regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). It is operated by Manny Pay Corporation and 7th Pillar Integration Systems Corp.
The service aims to facilitate “frictionless” transactions between businesses and consumers through e-wallets, online banking, credit cards, and over-the-counter (OTC).
To compete with the giants already in the market, the company promises to have lower transfer fees and convenient bill payment offerings.
Apart from consumers, Manny Pay will focus on small and large businesses. It will offer corporate services such as Recurring Payments, Mass Payout, and Online Collections.
A known philanthropist, we won’t be surprised if Pacquiao consistently pushes for reasonable fees with his financial app.
Manny Pay is now available for download on the Google Play Store and App Store.
