Nokia is officially back with the announcement of two new feature phones.
Welcome to the post-Microsoft Nokia era with HMD Global at the helm. But in contrast to what we expect, they’re not diving head first with a smartphone release. Instead, the company is testing the waters by launching a couple of dumb handsets.
If you may recall, Nokia has previously launched a similar device when it was still with Microsoft – the Nokia 215. It’s kinda the same story here, which means that it has a stellar battery life and connectivity options such as Bluetooth with SLAM (aka NFC alternative) and MP3 and FM Radio support.
The Nokia 150 measures 118 x 50.2 x 1 3.5mm and it has a 2.4-inch QVGA (240 x 320) display. The battery is a BL-5C 1020mAh and it supports expandable microSD storage of up to 32GB.

In case you’re stuck somewhere boring, there’s also Snake Xenzia pre-installed to keep you entertained. A demo version of Nitro Racing is also available, but you’d have to buy the full game to enjoy it to its potential.
Those who want to take selfies and photos in their phones’ cameras aren’t going to be pleased with the Nokia 150’s VGA shooter. There’s flash to help in low light situations, but don’t expect it to be a huge difference in terms of quality.
The Nokia 150 and its dual SIM version will be available in Europe, IMEA, and APAC starting early 2017. It’s priced at around $26 before taxes, which equates to approximately Php1,300 in the Philippines.
