If you have been thinking about buying an ONYX BOOX Go 7 or Go Color 7 e-reader and tablet, there is a new accessory to consider. The company has just announced the BOOX InkSense Plus Stylus, a new and improved pen for its devices.

Earlier this year, ONYX released the BOOX Go 7 series. These devices have e-ink screens that are easy on the eyes, and they allow users to write notes, draw, or markup documents. However, unlike some competitors, these tablets did not include a stylus in the box. Customers had to buy one separately for an additional cost.

The original pen, called the BOOX InkSense Stylus, was priced at $45.99(~Php2,700). According to recent reports, that model has now been discontinued.

Replacing it is the new BOOX InkSense Plus Stylus. It keeps all the popular features from the first version, including 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. This means the line you draw changes thickness based on how hard you press. It also supports tilt for shading, has a side button you can customize, and comes with replaceable tips. It charges via a common USB-C port and has a light to show its battery status.

The new InkSense Plus Stylus model brings several upgrades. It has a finer, smaller pen tip for more precise writing. It also includes a G-sensor that automatically wakes the pen up when you pick it up. The battery is larger too, moving from 65mAh to 80mAh for a longer time between charges. The stylus is a bit longer and heavier, and it keeps its metal body but in a lighter color.

The price for the new InkSense Plus Stylus is set at $45.99 (~Php2,700) if ordered from a US warehouse. If you order from the Hong Kong warehouse, the price is slightly lower at $41.99(~Php2,500). These are the same price points as the old model. Potential buyers should note that the US warehouse currently lists the stylus as sold out.

You can purchase the ONYX BOOX Go 7 tablet on Amazon for $249.99 (~Php14,700).
