Market analytics firm IDC has released its Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker for February 2026.

The data shows the top smartphone brands in Southeast Asia from Q4 2024 to Q4 2025 in terms of shipments. Samsung managed to continue its domination for four consecutive quarters. This is all thanks to the popularity of the Galaxy A series in the region.

OPPO managed to climb the second spot, overtaking Transsion and Xiaomi. Apple was the biggest gainer and has entered the top five list for the first time, settling at number three.

Xiaomi dropped to number four, while Transsion fell to the fifth from second place.

While shipments only had a modest 0.7 percent growth, the market value increased to 11.3 percent year-on-year. This is thanks to the market’s shift to midrange phones as devices priced USD200 and below saw a 5.7 percent YoY decline.

In the Philippines, Transsion continues to dominate, despite a -24.7 percent decline. OPPO, Xiaomi, vivo, and realme take the succeeding spots.

As per IDC Senior Research Analyst Angela Medez, vendors across the region resort to pre-emptive price hikes and streamlined portfolios to combat the effects of escalating memory costs and shortage.
