Netflix has become a household name in the Philippines. Rightfully so, as it is one of the first streaming platforms to enter the local market.

The effects of the company’s efforts to court Filipinos show in this Q3 2025 streaming market share report of JustWatch, a streaming guide website.

As per their data, Netflix owns 29% of the market. Apart from the diversity of content it offers, Netflix has also invested in locally-produced shows and movies.

They are followed by Prime Video, which may have gained traction thanks to its partnership with the NBA. Although we’ll see how well they can maintain their standings as NBA games are now also being broadcast on the fifth-placer, Disney+ (8% market share).

HBO Max, a platform known for many critically acclaimed shows, is in third spot with 13%, while Hayu, a platform focusing on reality shows, is in fourth spot with 9%.

Apple TV+ managed to get 6% of the market, and Viu with 5%.
