Apple will be launching the new iPhone 17e, new Macs, and iOS upgrades in early 2026, as per Mark Gurman, a prominent leaker of Apple news.
The iPhone 17e will be a direct successor to the iPhone 16e, which just came out last year. This is a good indicator that budget iPhones, which started with the iPhone SE, will finally be refreshed in an annual basis.
This affordable iPhone will use the A19 chip, which it will share with the iPhone 17 lineup. MagSafe charging is also being added, plus a couple of Apple-made cellular and wireless chips.
The iPhone 17e is expected to have the same price of USD599 or Php39,990.
What’s more, the base iPad and iPad Air will be getting refreshed. The former will be updated to an A18 chip and will gain Apple Intelligence. The latter will have a more powerful M4 chip.
The iPad mini is also expected to be updated to an OLED display.
For the Macs, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro will also be updated in the coming months/weeks, while the MacBook Air will gain an Apple M5 chip.
We also expect to see refreshed Mac Studio and Studio Display, while new Mac Mini models will not come until later this year.
A big highlight for the Macs is the upcoming release of a budget-friendly MacBook, which is coming in the early months of 2026.
