Smart Communications launched its new Smart Travē app that aims to simplify how Filipinos can use their eSIMs in over 80 overseas destinations.
The Smart Travē app is now available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. As per the press release, the app will allow users to “conveniently browse, purchase, and activate prepaid eSIM data packages with just a few taps on their eSIM-compatible device.”
Users traveling abroad don’t need to line up at airport kiosks just to purchase a SIM card or connect to public WiFi networks to gain internet access.
With the app, you can simply choose your destination, pick your preferred data package, choose your preferred payment method, and activate the eSIM so you can go online immediately.
Prices will depend on your destination. But, Smart said you can get data packages for as low as USD4.50 (~Php261) that is valid for 7 days.
The app supports 80 destinations across the world:
