HTC has introduced a new midrange phone, the HTC U24 Pro, with a high-refresh-rate screen, Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm, fancy camera, and a sleek design.
The HTC U24 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with flagship-level 12GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable of storage. It has a relatively small 4,600mAh battery but with a speedy 60W wired charging. It even managed to get 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging for your accessories.
It also has an enormous 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, premium curved sides, and an unknown Corning Gorilla Glass version.
The device is IP67-rated for being dust and water resistant. It even managed to get two rare features: 3.5mm headphone jack and a notification LED light.
What HTC is highlighting here is the sharp 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, another 50-megapixel sensor with a 2x telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. No nonsense depth sensor or macro camera here.
On the front, we have a similar 50-megapixel sensor for sharp selfies.
The HTC U24 Pro is listed in Europe for a price of EUR564 (~Php35,700). No word yet if it will arrive in other markets, but we’re not expecting it to be released in the Philippines like most HTC phones that came out in recent years.
