UGREEN has introduced the LinkStation Pro, its first external GPU dock with Thunderbolt 5.
The UGREEN LinkStation Pro supports speeds up to 80Gbps. Up to 64Gbps of that goes to the graphics card. It also works with USB4, Thunderbolt 4, and Thunderbolt 3, so older laptops can still use it. Those older connections will not get the full Thunderbolt 5 speed.
NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel graphics cards are all supported. UGREEN says the dock can also work with its NAS devices to improve Docker container performance. This may help users of the NASync DXP GT series.
A built-in 850W power supply handles power. It has an 80 Plus Gold rating and ATX 3.1 support. A 12V-2×6 connector is there for newer RTX 40- and 50-series cards. Two PCIe 6+2-pin cables give four 8-pin plugs in total.
Three Thunderbolt 5 ports support daisy-chaining. This means users can connect more accessories through the dock instead of running separate cables to their laptop.
The aluminum case has a semi-open design, which fits graphics cards up to 370mm long. There is no M.2 slot and no Ethernet port, though.
The UGREEN LinkStation Pro is available now in China for CNY3,489 (~Php32,000). UGREEN has not announced a launch date and pricing for other regions as of writing.
