vivo Philippines has launched its latest flagship phone, the vivo V80.
For a quick recap, the vivo V80 boasts a really interesting design that uses 3D laser holographic lithography on glass that shows a trail of stars from the galaxy. The stars only appear at certain angles, which makes it look like they are shining.
That’s for the Starwish Purple. A cleaner Wander Green option is also available.
Like most vivo flagships, the V80 has ZEISS-powered camera systems. There’s the 50-megapixel main camera that uses an LYTIA 700V sensor with CIPA 4.5 optical image stabilization.
There’s also a 50-megapixel IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 50-megapixel 92-degree selfie camera with autofocus.
A key feature of the V80 is its large 7,200mAh battery, with fast 90W wired charging, reverse wired charging, and bypass charging. Sadly, no ultra-wide lens.
On the front, there’s a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, with a very smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and 5,000-nit peak brightness. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor, with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of non-expandable storage.
It is also IP68/IP69 dust- and water-resistant and ships with Android 17-based OriginOS 7. It will receive up to 4 OS upgrades.
The vivo V80 8GB/128GB has an SRP of Php42,999 in the Philippines. Pre-order from October 26 to November 11 to get a free Limited Edition vivo Buds Air 3 worth Php1,799, a Php2,000 discount, a 6-month extended warranty for broken screen, and Google One with 100GB storage.
It is available at vivo physical stores, e-store, Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. You can also get it through Home Credit at 0% interest
