ASUS Philippines launched its value-oriented TUF Gaming Series 5 monitors in the country.
The fanciest of the series is the ASUS TUF Gaming 34-inch ultra-wide monitor VG34WQML5A. This one has a 1500R curvature with a WQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, and up to 250Hz refresh rate (overclocked).
It also has a 0.5ms response time, support for FreeSync Premium Pro, variable refresh rate (VRR), ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB SYNC), HDR, DisplayHDR 400 compliant, and HDR-10. Port selection includes two HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPorts, and a USB Hub.
The ASUS TUF TVG34WQML5A has an SRP of Php22,500 in the Philippines.
We also have the ASUS Gaming TUF VG32VQM5B, a 31.5-inch FHD curved monitor that also has a 250Hz refresh rate and 1500R curvature. Also here are ELMB SYNC, FreeSync Premium, and VRR. Port selection includes two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort, and a Headphone Jack.
The ASUS Gaming TUF VG32VQM5B will be available for Php14,500.
Meanwhile, the ASUS Gaming TUF VG27AQM5A is great for shooter games with a modest size of 27 inches, but with a higher 300Hz refresh rate. This IPS panel also has ASUS ELMB SYNC technology, 0.3ms GTG response time, two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort, and an earphone jack.
The ASUS VG27AQM5A will retail for Php18,000.
Here’s a cheaper 27-inch gaming monitor. The ASUS Gaming TUF VG27AQ5A also uses a QHD IPS screen but with a lower 210Hz (OC) refresh rate. The rest of the features are the same.
By Q3, you can get this one for only Php15,000.
The ASUS Gaming TUF VG279QM5A is also a 27-inch IPS monitor with a higher 240Hz refresh rate, but only a FHD resolution. FreeSync Premium and G-Sync are compatible. It has two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort.
You can soon get it for Php11,500.
The ASUS Gaming TUF VG259Q5A is a smaller 24.5-inch FHD 200Hz IPS display with built-in stereo speakers, 0.3ms GTG response time, AMD FreeSync Premium, ASUS ELBM, two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort, and an earphone jack.
It will retail for only Php9,000.
Also available for only Php9,000, the ASUS Gaming TUF VG249QM5A has a slightly smaller 23.8-inch FHD IPS screen, but with a higher 240Hz refresh rate. Both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync are supported, with two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort.
The new ASUS TUF Gaming Series 5 monitors will arrive in the Philippines this Q3 2025.
