Motorola took the wraps off the new Moto G96, a pretty beefy midrange phone with a fast display, sharp cameras, and big battery.
The new Motorola Moto G96 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, with up to 256GB of storage, but only 8GB of RAM.
It doesn’t have a 6,000mAh battery like others have, but its 5,500mAh capacity is still above average. It is paired with a 33W adapter.
A 6.67-inch pOLED screen is on the front with a FHD+ resolution, a high 144Hz refresh rate, 1600-nit peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
We have a familiar design on the back. There’s a 50-megapixel main camera on the top left that uses an optically stabilized LYT-700C sensor from Sony. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens joins it, while the front has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Motorola also highlights its IP68-rated dust and water protection, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. Plus, it has four Pantone colors with fancy names: Cattleya Orchid, Ashleigh Blue, Dresden Blue, and Greener Pastures.
The Motorola Moto G96 8GB/128GB has an SRP of INR17,999 (~Php11,900), and 8GB/256GB for INR19,999 (~Php13,200). It will be available in India starting July 16.
