The Xiaomi 15T immediately arrives in the Philippines a day after its global debut.
It came alongside the more expensive 15T Pro. The Xiaomi 15T is a cheaper alternative, costing Php11,000 less than the Pro, while having forgivable downgrades to accommodate the price tag.
For one, the Xiaomi 15T settles for a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra, while the Pro has a Dimensity 9400+. Both still come with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and Xiaomi 3D IceLoop cooling system.
The refresh rate was also dropped to 120Hz from 144Hz, but it still has the same 6.83-inch 2.8K AMOLED screen with a high 3200-nit peak brightness.
Meanwhile, the 50-megapixel main camera now uses a Light Fusion 800 sensor instead of Light Fusion 900, while the 50-megapixel telephoto now has a 2x optical zoom lens instead of 5x. Still, both have 12-megapixel ultra-wide and 32-megapixel selfie cameras.
Xiaomi also removed the 50W wireless fast charging, but it still comes with a 5,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging. They also come with Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and will receive 5 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches.
The Xiaomi 15T with 12GB/512GB configuration has an SRP of Php28,999 in the Philippines, but is discounted to Php27,999 for a limited time. Pre-order it from September 26 to October 9 with a Php1,000 down payment to get a free Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro.
