A new, low-cost way to access an advanced artificial intelligence chatbot has arrived in the Philippines. OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has launched a subscription tier called ChatGPT Go for Php300 per month.

This move targets the country’s rapidly growing interest in AI technology. Recent data shows the Philippines is one of the top five users of ChatGPT in Asia on a weekly basis.

The ChatGPT Go plan is designed to give more people the chance to use powerful AI tools for their daily tasks without a high subscription cost. A company executive noted that many Filipinos are already using AI to help with learning and creative projects.

Subscribers to the new plan will get significant upgrades over the free version. It runs on GPT-5, the latest and most capable AI model from OpenAI.

The benefits include a ten-fold increase in the number of messages you can send using the GPT-5 model. Users also get to generate ten times as many images each day and can upload ten times more files for the AI to analyze. Furthermore, conversations will have a longer memory, making the chatbot’s responses more consistent and personalized.

ChatGPT Go sits between the free version and two more expensive plans. The Plus plan, at Php1,100 monthly, offers faster performance. The Pro plan, priced at Php9,990, is built for businesses and developers who need advanced features.
