The vivo V60 Lite came to the Philippines in 4G and 5G models. While everyone’s eyes are on the higher-end model, we’ll be checking out the cheaper variant to see what it’s all about.
Php3,000 cheaper than its 5G brother, the vivo V60 Lite 4G inherits all the same specs, apart from the chipset. In our full review, we’ll see if it’s an acceptable compromise, or you’re better off spending more for the V60 Lite 5G instead. Also, how does it stack against other 4G-only phones in its segment? We’ll answer those questions, so read on.

Design and Build Quality
If you haven’t noticed, the vertical camera island looks very similar to the iPhone 16/17. Coincidence? I think not. But whatever the case may be, it made the vivo V60 Lite look chic and elegant, especially in this Pop Pink colorway.

It’s also available in Titanium Blue — kind of a his and hers combo.
The metallic flat frame matches the color of the rear panel. They could’ve smoothened out the edges, but it’s comfortable to grip and easy to hold. It is also very thin at 7.69mm and feels very light despite weighing heavier than average at 194g.

There’s a glass-like frosted material on the back that doesn’t attract fingerprint marks, dirt, and lint. It looks clean every time.
For durability, it passed MIL-STD-810H certification and 5-star SGS Drop Resistance tests. Plus, it is IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, but a more durable IP66 and higher rating would’ve been better.

Taking a tour, there’s a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen on the front with a punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie camera. Bezels are as thin as they should be.

There’s a noise-isolating microphone on top and the stereo speaker.

There’s nothing on the left side, while the right has the clicky lock/power button and volume controls.

The bottom has the SIM tray for two nano SIMs, a built-in microphone, USB-C port, and a bottom-firing loudspeaker.
Display and Audio
The vivo V60 Lite 4G has a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2392 x 1080 pixel resolution, ~387ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 coverage, 3,000-nit peak brightness, and Widevine L1 support for FHD streaming on Netflix and other platforms. Sadly, no HDR support.
We have no complaints with the display. It’s colorful, sharp, and gets very bright. Still, would’ve loved to see HDR or Dolby Vision support.

The stereo speakers were good, too. It has enough volume even without entering the 400% volume mode. Audio quality is not the cleanest, but passable. Stereo separation is audible.
Hardware and Performance
One of the biggest disappointments with the vivo V60 Lite is the lack of an upgrade on the processor. It still uses its predecessor’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset. Adding insult to the injury is that it only has 4G connectivity, and you have to pay more to get 5G.
vivo V60 Lite 4G Benchmark Scores
It goes without saying that day-to-day performance is disappointing. It feels sluggish and laggy, even if you’re just scrolling on social media feeds, web browsing, and more. It’s still very usable in day-to-day use, but if performance is a priority you’re better off with the regular vivo V60.
You’d be able to create content in Canva, edit videos on CapCut, and more, just don’t expect the smoothest experience. Now, let’s see how it holds up in gaming.

Genshin Impact was barely playable, even at the Lowest graphics preset. On the upside, optimized games like PUBG Mobile ran fine under Smooth graphics and Ultra frames, as well as Call of Duty Mobile at Low graphics with High fps. Farlight84 at Minimal graphics with Medium frame rates also worked well.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was smooth under HD and High frames, and Asphalt Legends Unite at High Quality at 60fps.

The vivo V60 Lite is decent for gaming. Not the best, but good enough for a lot of basic titles. It can satisfy casual gamers, but definitely not hardcore ones.
| Game | Graphics Settings |
| Genshin Impact | • Render Resolution: Lowest • Visual Effects: Low • SFX Quality: Lowest • FPS: 30 |
| PUBG Mobile | • Graphics Quality: Smooth • Frame Rate: Ultra |
| Call of Duty: Mobile | • Graphics Quality: Low • Frame Rate: High |
| Farlight84 | • Graphics Quality: Minimal • Frame Rate: Medium |
| Mobile Legends: Bang Bang | • Resolution: HD • Frame Rate: High |
| Asphalt Legends Unite | • Visual Quality: High Quality • Frame Rate: 60 |
Software and User Interface
The vivo V60 Lite ships with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. It’s not clear how long vivo will be supporting this device. However, its predecessor is confirmed to receive the next Funtouch OS 16, so we’re almost certain that it will get that on at least.

First-time vivo users will feel at home in the V60 Lite’s straightforward and intuitive interface.

It has the right amount of AI features you might need. We have Google Gemini as the default AI Assistant; AI tools within the gallery app, which include the AI Eraser 3.0, AI Photo Enhance, and the AI Four-Season Portrait that changes your background into Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall.
Also, here are AI Captions, AI Smart Call Assistant, AI Note Assistant, AI Transcript Assist, and a spam calls blocker.

For security, we have the under-display fingerprint scanner. Not the fastest, but acceptable. We found that the facial recognition unlocks the device faster.

We have no problems with the vivo V60 Lite’s user interface. But it would be nice to have a guarantee of how long it will support the device. Considering almost everything is well supported in the Android ecosystem now, we expect it to get updates for a couple of years.
Cameras
The vivo V60 Lite 4G has a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.

vivo’s signature ring flash, called Aura Light, is still here. It provides a fill light for even exposure in poor lighting scenarios. The color tone is also adjustable to match the subject’s skin tone.
For video recording, the rear camera can shoot videos at 720p@30fps, 720p@60fps, and 1080p@30fps. The selfie camera shoots in 720p and 1080p, both at 30fps.
The 50-megapixel main camera produces good daytime photos. Not mindblowing, but still one of the best in its segment. We get sharp details, dynamic range is treated well, and colors are close to reality.
The exposure can get confused at times, but its performance in low-light scenarios is passable.
The ultra-wide camera is a bit disappointing, though. It may only be an 8-megapixel sensor, but details could be sharper. Colors are too washed out, too.
Selfie quality is what you can expect from a vivo phone. They have ample details, accurate skin tones, and realistic colors.
Having good cameras is a standard on all vivo phones, even on the vivo V60 Lite — with the exception of the ultra-wide sensor.
Battery and Charging
vivo continues to impress in our battery tests. The vivo V60 Lite 4G has a 6,500mAh battery, paired with a 90W fast charger.
There are battery optimization features you can play with, but we doubt you ever have to.
The large battery and fast charging are paired with 24 levels of safety precautions and vivo claims it can retain at least 80% of its battery health after 5 years.
It has one of the best scores in our PCMark Battery Test, lasting for 20 hours and 39 minutes before dropping to 20% from 100%.
You can easily get 2-3 days of light to moderate usage out of this device.

Charging speeds from the 90W adapter, as expected, is very quick, with a full charge only taking about an hour. See full test results below:
- 15mins: 0-28%
- 30mins: 53%
- 45mins: 79%
- 1hr: FULL
Verdict
The vivo V60 Lite 4G attains all the great things its siblings are known for. Unfortunately, it also suffers from the drawbacks in terms of performance.

Recycling the chipset from its predecessor is really disappointing, as if that chipset isn’t already a downer to begin with.
A committed duration for software support would also be nice, as well as having better ingress protection rating and an ultra-wide camera. Adding HDR or Dolby Vision support wouldn’t hurt, either.

However, it does have its redeeming quality. We still got an impressive battery life, which is no surprise for a vivo smartphone. You also get vivo’s reputable image processing, the V60 Lite’s capable stereo speakers and display, and of course, a chic and comfortable design that’s great for daily use.
Still, for the price, the vivo V60 Lite 4G just fails to hit the mark. If you can stretch your budget a bit more, we highly recommend going with the 5G model.
