With more people preferring streaming at home, SM Cinema brings innovations to the theater to lure to come out and enjoy new movies in the big screen. Now, they have brought ScreenX to the country.
SM Mall of Asia is the first in the Philippines to have a ScreenX theater. Made in partnership with CJ 4DPLEX, this theater has a revolutionary 270-degree panoramic screen, a format that expands the film from the main screen to the side walls of the auditorium.
This surround setup will fully immerse the audience, which we imagine feels like experiencing a movie through a VR headset.
The theater made its debut with the new movie Wicked: For Good as its inaugural feature.
You can book a ticket for Wicked: For Good on ScreenX at SM Mall of Asia for Php700. It is located on the 2nd Level, Entertainment Mall.
Soon after, the ScreenX theater will feature upcoming releases like Zootopia 2 and Avatar: Fire and Ash.
