HONOR’s take on the iPhone Air is here. Check out the new HONOR Magic8 Pro Air.
As the name suggests, the HONOR Magic8 Pro Air is a thin and light flagship phone. It’s only 6.1mm thin and weighs just 155g. The vertical camera island, and even the marketing materials, look heavily inspired by the iPhone Air.
Despite its thinness, the device still has a large 5,500mAh battery, thanks to silicon-carbon technology. It is paired with an 80W wired and 50W wireless charger.
On the front, there’s a compact 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a high 6,000-nit peak brightness.
Under the hood, we have a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
It ships with Android 16-based MagicOS 10.
HONOR also didn’t skimp on the cameras. There’s a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch main camera with optical image stabilization.
You also get a 64-megapixel periscope lens with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 50-megapixel one for selfies.
The HONOR Magi8 Pro Air is now available in China. The 12GB/256GB retails for CNY4,999 (~Php42,500), 12GB/512GB for CNY5,299 (~Php45,100), 16GB/512GB for CNY5,599 (~Php47,600), and the 16GB/1TB for CNY5,999 (~Php51,000).
