With surging gas prices, Honda Philippines has imposed a massive price cut to one of its electric scooters, the Honda EM1 e:.

The company announced that the Honda EM1 e:, its electric scooter that came out in September 2024, is now available for only Php99,990. That’s exactly Php55,500 cheaper from its launch price of Php155,400 about 2 years ago.

Honda Philippines highlighted how you can charge for less than Php20 and already ride up to 40km.

That already comes with a Honda Mobile Power Pack e battery and Honda Power Pack Charger e:. You can purchase an extra battery for Php42,500 and, if for some reason, you want to purchase a charger again, you can do so for Php18,000.

For the specs, the EM1 e: is essentially an equivalent of 50cc motorcycles, with the removable battery providing 48km of maximum range. The charger works with 220V sockets with a full charge taking about six hours.

It uses an in-wheel 3-phase motor, a max horsepower of 1.71kW at 540rpm, 90Nm @ 25rpm of torque, hydraulic and drum brakes, and tubeless tires.

You also get an LED head light, LED tail light, digital meter panel, USB-A port, and a rear carrier with top box support.
