Samsung Electronics has officially released Samsung Browser for Windows, bringing the company’s well-known mobile browsing experience to desktop computers. The new software focuses on smooth connections between devices and introduces built-in artificial intelligence tools to help users browse more efficiently.
The main idea behind the Windows version is to let people switch between their Samsung phone and their PC seamlessly. It goes beyond just syncing bookmarks and history. If you are looking at a webpage on your phone, you can open the same page on your computer right where you left off.
The browser also includes Samsung Pass, so users can store personal information securely and use it to autofill website logins and forms.

One of the biggest additions is an AI assistant built directly into the browser. Samsung partnered with Perplexity for this new feature. The AI understands natural language and pays attention to the page you are viewing, as well as all your open tabs. Unlike other AI tools, it can do more than just answer questions. You can use it to manage tabs, search through your browsing history, or stay productive without leaving the browser window.
For example, if you are reading a travel guide about Seoul, you can ask the browser to create a four-day trip plan based on that specific page. It will analyze the content and give you a structured plan that you can organize and change to fit your needs.

The AI also helps with researching. Instead of clicking through many webpages to find what you need, you can ask a question and get the answer right away. This also works even with videos. The browser can understand what is happening in a video and jump directly to the exact moment you are looking for.
Another useful feature is multi-tab awareness. You do not have to click through each tab to compare information. The browser can summarize and compare content from all your open tabs at once, giving you key points from different sources in one place.
Samsung Browser for Windows works on computers running Windows 11 and Windows 10, specifically version 1809 and above. The new AI features are currently available in South Korea and the United States for both Windows and Android devices. Samsung says it plans to expand to more markets in the future.
