Google has announced three new Pixel 11 devices. Let’s first focus on the Pixel 11 Pro.
The Pixel 11 Pro, alongside the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, features upgraded AI features with Google Gemini, the latest 2nm Tensor G6 chipset, and the HiLight: which is basically an advanced notification LED light on the back that lights up when you receive notifications or when talking to Gemini.
You can get it with 12GB/16GB of RAM and 512GB/1TB of storage. It then has a compact 6.3-inch LTPO OLED screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate.
Despite the existence of silicon-carbon technology, Google insisted on a relatively small 4,850mAh battery. It should still last longer than expected due to the efficiency of the chipset and software. It is paired with 30W wired charging and support for Pixelsnap magnetic charging.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter with f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization. We also have a 48-megapixel periscope lens with 5x zoom, 48-megapixel ultra-wide, and 42-megapixel ultra-wide selfie shooter.
The device is IP68 dust- and water- resistant, has support for eSIM, and of course, runs on the latest Android 17 and will receive 7 OS upgrades in the future. Satellite SOS messaging and Ultra Wideband support are also here.
Google listed the Pixel 11 Pro in the United States for USD1,099 (~Php67,400) for the 12GB/256GB and USD1,219 (~Php74,700) for the 16GB/512GB. It will be available starting August 20.
