Nothing has released its latest wireless earbuds, called the Nothing Ear (3a).
The main selling point of the Nothing Ear (3a) is a built-in recording function. The earbuds have 32MB of storage inside, so you can capture short audio clips without needing your phone nearby. You just squeeze both buds to start recording, and the device grabs sound from a few seconds before and after you press them.
Once you are done, the clips go straight to the Nothing X app. From there, you can play them back, trim them, send them to others, or turn them into text. The app also makes quote cards from your transcriptions, which helps you find important moments later.
You can record up to two hours of calls or meetings. Other people on the call will get a notification that recording is happening, so everyone knows.

For sound quality, the Nothing Ear (3a) use a 12mm driver that gives better bass and clearer audio than older models. They work with LDAC for high-quality streaming and let you adjust the sound with an 8-band equalizer in the app. They also support spatial audio for a more immersive experience when watching videos.
The noise cancellation goes up to 45 dB. Nothing says the new design makes it 17 percent more effective across different types of background noise compared to the previous version.
The earbuds have the clear, see-through look that Nothing is known for. Buyers can choose from black, white, pink, or yellow. A new extra-small ear tip means they should fit more people comfortably.
Battery life is pretty good. You get 10 hours of playback from the earbuds alone when noise cancellation is off. With the charging case, that extends to 42 hours total. If you keep the noise cancellation on, the total drops to 25 hours.
The Nothing Ear (3a) is priced at Php5,990 in the Philippines.
