2K has finally set the new NBA 2K27 for a worldwide release on September 4, 2026, with the Standard Edition available for pre-order for Php2,920 on Steam.
Sony has not yet listed a PS5 PH price (2K’s official PS5 price is $69.99 / $99.99 / $149.99 USD), but it should close to the direct conversion of USD. Deluxe and Ultra follow at Php3,950 and Php5,400 on Steam PH, with Ultra limited to a pre-order window that closes September 6.
Visual Concepts’ largest MyCAREER overhaul in years arrives as “Fire & Concrete,” an 11-chapter story. The modern path follows a top Duke commit whose detour starts with a car accident, resumes at a recreated Rucker Park, and runs through the G League. Vince Staples voices and mocaps the cousin Cam, and appears on the soundtrack.
Two players can run MyCAREER through Running Mate Trace Miller — a G League teammate with nine build templates — with AI filling in offline. A separate branch layers historically locked rosters onto one of five eras: Magic vs. Bird (1984), Jordan (1991), Kobe (2003), LeBron (2010), or Steph (2016).
The City goes co-ed for the first time — male and female MyPLAYERs share The REC, The Theater, Park, plus the new Crew HQ and Casual Corner. Crew HQ is a squad base for practice, ranked play, and tournaments; Casual Corner targets newer players. Forty REP tiers ship at launch.
NBA 2K27 ships over 7,000 new ProPLAY animations. Offense gets step-through up-and-unders — pump-fake into five Pro Stick directions, modeled on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Edwards, and Luka Doncic — plus a Dynamic Layup Engine with mid-air hand adjustments, an Expanded Dribbling Customization suite of 29 decoupled moves, and a fully timed Dunk Meter for every dunk attempt.
Defense gets a two-mode hands-up system (right-stick up for aggressive, down for conservative no-foul), an 8-tier color-coded shot contest readout, one-step and lunging cutoffs, and a new collision system that weighs both players’ ratings. Takeover is rebuilt around five independent meters — Shooting, Finishing, Playmaking, Defense, Rebounding — that scale across six tiers from Frozen to Takeover, with 24 Abilities that can stack.
The MyPLAYER Builder adds female MyPLAYERs as well, 53 total Badges (19 new), and a 16-slot Synergy layer. MyTEAM introduces Player XP on every card, an Expanded Exchange that accepts any card in a collection, a unified Auction House, and rotating multiplayer modes. MyNBA gets a 100-year Legacy single-player mode and a GM Trust system, while The W and MyWNBA add Build-as-You-Go progression and 5 Team Badges plus 12 Teammate Badges.
