The HONOR 100 series, officially called the HONOR N series, is a lineup of premium smartphones positioned between the budget-friendly X series and the flagship Magic series. For today’s review, we have the HONOR 600 Pro.
The N series aims to deliver a premium experience without the over-the-top hardware—and equally over-the-top price tag—of the Magic series. The HONOR 600 Pro, along with its smaller sibling, the HONOR 600, offers powerful hardware, a sleek design, and a more reasonable price point, especially compared to the Magic 7 Pro.
But is it a sensible option at its Php49,999 SRP? Let’s find out in our HONOR 600 Pro review.

Design and Build Quality
The HONOR 600 Pro is one of the phones that is unapologetically “inspired” by the iPhone 17 Pro‘s design. It features a familiar camera plateau on the back—a large glossy glass panel housing the triple-camera system in a triangular layout alongside the LED flash and color temperature sensor.
If the resemblance isn’t obvious enough, it also comes in an Orange colorway—the same hero color as Apple’s current flagship.
You can look at it from an ethical or practical perspective. Personally, we appreciate getting a premium-looking design at a much lower price, though we understand why some may see it as too derivative.
Regardless of its inspiration, the HONOR 600 Pro feels excellent in the hand. It is impressively slim at just 7.8mm thick and weighs only 195g.
The phone features a flat aluminum frame, glass on the front, and a smooth, glass-like matte finish on the back that effectively resists fingerprints and smudges.
The front is surrounded by noticeably thin 0.98mm bezels, making the phone look modern while remaining comfortable for everyday use.
It wouldn’t be an HONOR phone without extensive durability features. The device carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, among the highest certifications available for dust and water resistance. It also received a 5-star SGS certification for drop and crush resistance.
To further protect the device, HONOR includes a clear protective case and a pre-installed screen protector in the box.
Taking a quick tour, the front houses the 6.57-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The left side only houses the antenna bands, which are also present on the other three corners.
On the right are the volume controls, power button, and the Camera Button… err, AI Button.
The physical buttons are tactile and clicky, further reinforcing the phone’s premium feel.
Up top are two microphones and the secondary speaker grille.
At the bottom are the dual nano-SIM tray, primary microphone, USB-C 2.0 port, and primary loudspeaker.
Display and Audio
The HONOR 600 Pro features a 6.57-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2728 × 1264, a pixel density of ~458ppi, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 8,000 nits of HDR peak brightness, and Netflix and Amazon HDR certifications.
It also comes packed with eye-care technologies, including 3840Hz PWM Dimming and the new Motion Sickness Relief feature, which HONOR claims reduces motion sickness by up to 89%. Video enhancement features are also available, along with Smart Resolution, although you can’t manually choose which resolution to use.
Display quality is excellent. It’s sharp, vibrant, and exceptionally bright. The adaptive refresh rate also works consistently, switching to 90Hz in most social media apps while reaching 120Hz on the home screen and supported games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Unlike many phones that use the earpiece as the secondary speaker, the HONOR 600 Pro features two dedicated speaker drivers. The result is an immersive stereo experience with excellent separation, balanced sound, and impressive loudness.
The 200% Volume Booster is a welcome addition. Bass is punchy, vocals are clear, and treble is crisp, although it can occasionally sound clipped at maximum volume. Overall, we’re impressed.
Hardware and Performance
A true sub-flagship device, the HONOR 600 Pro is powered by the 4.47GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, featuring two 4.32GHz Oryon V2 performance cores and six 3.53GHz Oryon V2 efficiency cores.
HONOR 600 Pro Benchmark Scores
The 3nm chipset is paired with an Adreno 830 GPU, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a generous 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card expansion.
Day-to-day performance is fast and seamless, with virtually no noticeable difference from a true flagship during everyday tasks. Gaming performance is equally impressive.
Genshin Impact consistently maintained 60fps under the High graphics preset. PUBG Mobile also ran flawlessly at a stable 90fps using HDR graphics with the Extreme+ frame rate setting.
Call of Duty: Mobile delivered smooth gameplay under Max graphics and frame rate settings, while Farlight84 comfortably ran at HD graphics with 120fps enabled.
Both Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Asphalt Legends Unite performed flawlessly at their highest available settings.
More importantly, we experienced no overheating issues throughout our gaming sessions.

Software and User Interface
The HONOR 600 Pro runs Android 16-based MagicOS 10. HONOR promises six years of Android OS upgrades and security updates, which deserves praise.
MagicOS, especially its latest version, feels intuitive and polished. There are noticeable inspirations from iOS 27, particularly with the new Transparency Mode that allows adjustable transparency throughout the interface.
The phone also includes a wide range of AI-powered features for productivity, creativity, entertainment, and security. These include AI Writing, AI Translate, Call Translation, AI Suggestions, and Deepfake and Voice Cloning Detection.
Inside the Gallery app are AI Eraser, AI Upscale, AI Cutout, and AI Outpainting.
The famous AI Image to Video 2.0 is also available, allowing users to generate AI videos using presets, up to three reference images, and text prompts.
Units activated before July 31, 2026 receive up to 10 free generations per day for the first 76 days. Afterward, users get 10 free generations every 30 days, with additional uses available through paid purchases.
Meanwhile, units activated after July 31, 2026 receive only 10 free generations every 30 days, with additional generations requiring a purchase.
There’s also the AI Button, which is oddly positioned where a dedicated camera button would normally be instead of the upper-left side where we’d expect it.
Fortunately, it’s highly customizable. You can assign different apps or actions for single press, double press, and long press gestures.
For security, both the optical fingerprint scanner and face unlock worked quickly and reliably, even in very dark environments.
Cameras
The HONOR 600 Pro sports a triple-camera system led by a sharp 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch main sensor with a 24mm equivalent focal length, f/1.9 aperture, optical image stabilization, and PDAF.
It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto camera with an 80mm equivalent focal length, OIS, and PDAF, plus a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with a 0.8x lens, although it lacks autofocus.
Portrait Mode includes bokeh lighting effects and three Harcourt filters. You can even capture RAW photos while using Portrait Mode. Other shooting modes include Live Photo, Magic Pose, Night Mode, Stage Mode, Super Macro, Underwater Mode, Panorama, Timelapse, and Document Scanner.
Both the main and telephoto cameras support recording at 720p and 1080p at 30fps or 60fps, as well as 4K at 30fps or 60fps.
The selfie camera supports up to 4K at 30fps, while the ultra-wide camera records up to 4K at 30fps. Multi-Video is also supported, along with 1080p slow-motion recording at 120fps and 240fps.
Daylight shots from the 200-megapixel main camera are outstanding. Images are packed with detail—even when zoomed in—without looking artificially sharpened. Dynamic range is excellent, while colors remain vibrant yet natural.
The main camera continues to impress at night. Colors stay accurate, highlights remain well-controlled, and dynamic range is excellent, although some scenes can appear slightly dim.
The large sensor also enables clean 2x crops, effectively producing a high-quality 48mm equivalent that’s perfect for portraits.
The 50-megapixel telephoto camera is equally impressive. Images are incredibly detailed, colors remain natural, dynamic range is well-controlled, and low-light performance is among the best in its class.
Even the 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera performs surprisingly well. Details remain sharp, colors are consistent with the main camera, dynamic range is solid, and barrel distortion is well-controlled.
The 50-megapixel front camera also delivers excellent selfies with sharp details, realistic skin tones, and pleasing exposure. However, it tends to prioritize the face, causing the background to occasionally appear too bright or too dark.
Like its predecessors, the HONOR 600 Pro excels in the camera department.
Battery and Charging
One of the HONOR 600 Pro’s biggest highlights is its massive 7,000mAh battery, complemented by 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 27W reverse wired charging. HONOR also claims the battery will retain at least 80% of its original capacity after five years.
Battery life is excellent, although not quite class-leading. It lasted 17 hours and 15 minutes in our PCMark Battery Test and an impressive 20 hours and 26 minutes in our 1080p YouTube Video Loop Test.
Charging performance is equally impressive. A 15-minute charge brings the battery to 32%, while a full charge takes approximately 1 hour and 4 minutes. See our charging test results below.

Verdict
The HONOR 600 Pro successfully delivers what the N series promises: a premium smartphone experience without venturing into ultra-flagship pricing. It combines flagship-level performance, an outstanding camera system, a vibrant display, excellent build quality, and a massive 7,000mAh battery into a sleek package that feels every bit as premium as devices that cost significantly more.
Of course, it’s not without compromises. The design is heavily inspired by Apple’s latest flagship, which may not appeal to everyone. Battery life, while excellent, isn’t class-leading despite the enormous battery capacity. The USB-C 2.0 port also feels dated at this price point, and expandable storage is still absent.
Still, those drawbacks are relatively minor when weighed against everything the HONOR 600 Pro offers. At Php49,999, it’s an easy recommendation for anyone looking for flagship-grade performance, versatile cameras, long software support, and premium features without paying flagship prices.
If you can live with its derivative design, minor camera limitations, and slow USB standard, the HONOR 600 Pro stands as one of the best premium smartphones you can buy in its price segment.
