Apple’s iCloud+ service has gotten more expensive in eight countries: New Zealand, Egypt, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, Nigeria and, sadly, the Philippines.

The base iCloud+ tier, which comes with 50GB of cloud storage, now costs Php59 per month. A Php10 increase from the previous pricing. Meanwhile, the top-tier 12TB now costs Php400 more at Php3,990. See the updated prices below:

Apple hasn’t provided a reason for the price hikes, but the ongoing memory shortage, inflation, and currency fluctuations may have something to do with it.

Apart from iCloud+, prices for Apple Music have also increased, which is said to be due to “rising licensing costs.”

Apple Music Individual, Family, and Student tiers now cost Php30, Php60, and Php10 more, respectively.
