Samsung’s latest foldable phones for 2026 are now live. This is the Galaxy Z Flip8.
Launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and the all-new Galaxy Z Fold8, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 features a tall and narrow 6.9-inch FHD+ foldable display, with a roomy 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover screen that wraps around the dual rear cameras.
Speaking of the cameras, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 10-megapixel selfie camera is on the main display.
Unlike the Z Fold8 models, the Flip8 is powered by an Exynos 2600 processor instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It also lacks a 16GB/1TB model, and instead only comes in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations.
Having a smaller build also meant a smaller battery, which has a 4,300mAh capacity. The charging speed was also dropped to 25W from 45W, as well as the wireless charging to 15W from 20W.
Like its bigger brothers, it still ships with Android 17-based One UI 9 and the latest WiFi 7 connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 has a price of Php77,990 and Php91,990 for the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB models, respectively.
