Sony has kept its line-up very clean and simple, so it’s rarely that we hear new releases from them. That rare moment happens today, as the company launches the eighth iteration of its midrange line, the Sony Xperia 10 VIII.
The Sony Xperia 10 VIII is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage.
There’s a compact 6.1-inch LTPS OLED display, with a sharp FHD+ resolution, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It is paired with a relatively small 5,000mAh battery and paired with 30W wired charging.
It runs on the latest Android 16 operating system and will receive 4 OS upgrades in the future.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel main camera, joined by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the front.
Sony’s latest budget phone also has stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of an in-display one, IP65/IP68-rated durability, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Sony Xperia 10 VIII is now listed in Europe for EUR599 (~Php43,000).
