The Redmi Note 17 series just made its global debut, and this is the base model of the entire line, the Redmi Note 17 4G.
With the Redmi Note 17 4G, you’re getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, while the Redmi Note 17 5G has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. Other than the chipset, the two are almost the same, exact device.
Both have enormous 6.99-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a single loudspeaker. Keeping the lights on is a large 7,700mAh battery, paired with a 45W wired charger.
A 16-megapixel selfie camera is on the top of the display, while the rear has a 50-megapixel main shooter. The duo also have in-display fingerprint scanners and have IP65-rated durability.
Philippine pricing for the Redmi Note 17, as well as the whole series, is yet to be known. But, they could arrive alongside the Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max.
