The Redmi Note 17 5G hits the global stage.
It made its global debut alongside the Redmi Note 17 4G, Note 17 Pro, and Note 17 Pro Max. This one features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, with an option between 6GB and 8GB of RAM, and 128GB and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
There’s a big 7,700mAh silicon-carbon battery that keeps the lights on, which is said to last for up to 2.54 days of normal use or 26 hours of video playback. It charges via the included 45W adapter and supports up to 22.5W reverse wired charging.
There’s a large 6.99-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the front, with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 8-bit color. You only get a single speaker, but there’s a 200% volume booster.
A 16-megapixel selfie camera is on the front, while the rear has a 50-megapixel main shooter.
It is also IP65 dust- and splash-resistant, will ship with Android 16-based HyperOS 3, and will receive 6 years of security updates.
Pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be known.
