Godox has just released a new pocket-sized photo printer called the Godox P100. It lets you print snapshots straight from your phone, and it adds a protective layer to each photo as part of the printing process.
The Godox P100 is small and light enough to take anywhere. It weighs about as much as a smartphone and measures roughly the size of a thick portable charger. The rounded edges make it easy to hold, and it can slide into most bags without any hassle. Charging happens through a USB-C port, and it works with common phone chargers that output 5V and 2A.

On the inside, the printer uses dye-sublimation technology, which is known for producing rich and accurate colors. It prints at 300 dpi and can handle millions of color shades. The paper and ink ribbon come together in one cartridge, so replacing them is simple. You just open a side panel and swap in a new one. Each print gives you a photo that measures 86 by 53 mm, with a slightly larger paper size around it.
What sets this printer apart is the automatic laminating step. After the image is printed, the machine applies a clear coating over the surface. This helps guard against water marks, smudges, and dust. It also offers some protection against scratches and moisture, so your pictures are more likely to stay looking fresh over time.

Connecting to the printer is done through Bluetooth. If your phone has NFC, you can tap it against the device for faster pairing. The accompanying app, which works on both iPhone and Android, gives you basic editing options like filters, frames, and collage tools. There is also a feature that helps you create ID photos in standard passport and visa sizes, complete with background color options.
The Godox P100 is now on sale in China and it comes with a starter cartridge that holds 10 sheets of paper. Replacement packs with 20 sheets are sold separately. The printer itself is priced at CNY699 (~Php6,400).
