Vivo is the latest company to enter the smartwatch market, with its first product to launch on September 22 in China. It will be simply called the Vivo Watch.
Though Vivo so far only has the launch date announced via its official poster, several photos of the Vivo Watch from Digital Chat Station have already surfaced in Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
There will be two sizes available, 42mm and 46mm with model numbers W2052 and W2056, respectively. Both sizes are reported to have interchangeable straps. The smartwatch will also feature a round AMOLED display.
As for the battery life, the Vivo Watch will reportedly have up to 18 days of standby time. It’s also apparently made to be durable, with its high-quality steel body along and water resistance.
Other specs of the Vivo Watch include a voice assistant, heart rate monitoring, and mobile payment support.
The Vivo Watch is rumored to have a starting price of CNY999 (approx. ₱7,100).
