Yes, Acer still makes Android tablets, and recently, they released a new one, the Acer Iconia X12.
The new Acer Iconia X12 is powered by an aging MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor. Like a lot of brands that don’t prioritize tablets, this device is aimed at the budget market. You can get it with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
It then has a large 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and comes with a quad-speaker setup for the audio.
Keeping the lights on is a large 10,000mAh battery that supports USB-C PD 2.0 30W fast charging.
Made for productivity, you can get it with a portfolio case with a magnetic cover, a detachable Bluetooth keyboard with a trackpad, and a stylus.
Finally, we have an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 13-megapixel sensor on the back with autofocus.
The Acer Iconia X12 has a price of USD349 (~Php19,700). If the specs list got you excited for some reason, sadly, you won’t be able to get it until January 2025 — and that’s only if you’re living in China, North America, or EMEA.
