Alcatel has recently launched the 2021 models of their budget-friendly products. Three of them are smartphones, and one is an affordable tablet.
First, we have the Alcatel 3L 2021. This thing is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor, with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery charged via microUSB.
There’s a waterdrop notch for the 8-megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, it has a 48-megapixel main shooter and two 2-megapixel sensors. It then ships with the latest Android 11 OS.
Available in Blue and Black, the Alcatel 3L has a price of EUR149 (around Php8,700) and will be available in select markets this March.
The Alcatel 1S 2021 is more affordable at EUR149 (around Php8,700) and will be available this February.
It comes with another unnamed MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has a 4,000mAh battery, a 6.52-inch HD+ screen, 13-megapixel and two 2-megapixel rear cameras, and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
If you want something cheaper and smaller, the Alcatel 1L 2021 has a 6.1-inch HD+ screen for EUR135 (around Php7,900). It runs on Android 11 Go Edition, which hints at a possible quad-core processor.
It then has a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel camera combo at the back, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Lastly, we have the Alcatel 1T 7 WiFi, a budget tablet that costs only EUR59 (around Php3,400) and EUR69 (around Php4,000) for the 16GB and 32GB versions, respectively.
The full specs list and even the design of this one are yet to be revealed. But expect it to have the most modest hardware around due to its price and the fact that it runs on Android 10 Go Edition.
