Xiaomi has introduced the Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro, a follow-up on their 2021 gaming smartphones.
Both the Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro features a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. Being gaming phones, they have an ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling for improved responsiveness, and a response time of only 8.3ms.
They also share the same 4,500mAh battery with 120W charging. But, don’t expect that ultra-fast charging to be available on the Global model of this device.
Their main difference lies in the performance. The Pro model boasts a Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, while the vanilla model settles for a Snapdragon 870 5G chip.
The Pro model also has UFS 3.1 and SSD storage in a RAID setup for faster read and write speeds.
They also differ in cameras. The 4S has a 48-megapixel main shooter while the Pro has a sharper 64-megapixel main sensor.
To make up for it, the 4S does come with a Gundam Edition with a cool red, white, and blue color combination from the device itself, the free case it comes with, and the packaging.
No Gundam Edition for the Black Shark 4S Pro, but it does come with a neon green light on the back for notifications, or to let everyone around you know you’re in Do Not Disturb mode while gaming.
The Black Sharp 4S and 4S Pro will be initially available in China this October 15. Pricing and availability details in markets like the Philippines are yet to be known.
