Those of you who were disappointed by the Flare 2.0‘s 512MB RAM have probably been holding out for the release of the Flare 2X, the rumored next gen Flare variant with 1GB RAM. Well, it’s a rumor no more as it has just been revealed by Cherry Mobile SM North EDSA on their Facebook page.
As speculated, the Cherry Mobile Flare 2X features a 4 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 1.2GHz quad core MSM8225Q processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Other key specs include a 5mp autofocus camera, VGA front camera, 3G/HSPA, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It’s basically the Flare 2.0 but with more RAM, although it hasn’t been revealed yet if it uses an IPS panel, MVA or basic TN.
